The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador invites artists of all ages across the province to submit their creative works to the Arts and Letters Awards Program.

The Honourable Bernard Davis, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation, is pleased to announce this annual competition that inspires professional, non-professional, young and senior artists to share their original creative works.

The annual Arts and Letters Awards Program, now in its 69th year, encourages Newfoundland and Labrador residents of all ages to submit creative works for adjudication and feedback. Each year, excellence is recognized through the awarding of monetary prizes and the exhibition of winning entries and other submissions of merit. Original creative work in literature, music, visual art, and digital multimedia are eligible. Digital delivery of submissions to the Arts and Letters Awards Program is now a standard requirement of the program.

The submission deadline for this year’s competition is Friday, November 13, 2020.

Further information on submission guidelines can be found here.
