Project Description:

The proponent intends to transform the former Pasadena Rod & Gun Club site for a variety of outdoor recreational interests including snowmobiling, boating, and biking (bicycles, dirt bikes and ATV’s). A marina will be developed, snowmobile and bike racing/practice tracks will be constructed. The marina will consist of a rock fill breakwater, two rock filled crib finger piers and floating docks to provide sheltered anchorage for 52 boats. The 350 metre long 4-lane grassed drag strip will include indication and control lights and spectator bleachers. The bike racing track will be developed over 1.5 hectares of the 5.3 hectare site. The proponent hopes that construction can be completed by October 2005.
