Project Description:

The project involves the development of a Marine Industrial Park, consisting of a 20 hectare site adjacent to Powers Cove on the west side of Mortier Bay. The development will include a 1.2km access road off McGettigan Boulevard, water, sewer and power lines. Commercial lot development will occur along the length of the access road, with space for approximately 15 one-hectare lots. The development is for the commercial/industrial sector, with a potential future marine access to meet a growing demand in the marine services sector.

• June 24, 2008 – The undertaking was registered.
• August 1 2008 – Public comments are due.
• August 8, 2008 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• August 14, 2008 – Minister released project.
