Project Description:
The proposed project is for the construction of a rubble mound breakwater. The breakwater will measure approximately 165 meters in length and the width will vary between approximately 10 and 30 meters. The breakwater is required to dissipate wave action in the harbour before it reaches the existing harbour infrastructure. Construction of the breakwater is expected to require 14 weeks to complete.
- September 12, 2018 – The undertaking was registered.
- October 19, 2018 – Deadline for public comments.
- October 27, 2018 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
- November 5, 2018 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
- February 12, 2019 – Environmental Protection Plan approved.
