Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to construct a one kilometre access road to 11 cabins at New Pond, located two kilometres east of Carmanville, and, eight kilometres south of Route 330. The proposed access road would join the existing New Pond Road.

• February 3, 2022 – The undertaking was registered.
• March 11, 2022 – Public comments are due.
• March 20, 2022 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• April 3, 2022 – The Minister’s decision is due (extended).
• April 25, 2022 – The Minister’s decision is due (extended).
• May 12, 2022 – The Minister’s decision is due (extended).
• May 26, 2022 – The Minister’s decision is due (extended).
• June 1, 2022 – Environmental Preview Report (EPR) required.
• June 1, 2022 – Environmental Assessment Committee (EAC) appointed.
• July 8, 2022 – Environmental Preview Report Guidelines Issued.
• July 22, 2022 – EPR Submitted for Review.
• August 26, 2022 –  Deadline for public comments on the EPR.
• September 3 , 2022 – The Minister’s decision on the EPR is due.
• September 15, 2022 – The Minister determined the project is released.
