Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to develop a seven-hectare quarry approximately five kilometres from the town of Swift Current, near the Piper’s Hole River. The development will include vegetation clearing, grubbing and stockpiling of material on site. Operations will include excavating, screening, stockpiling and transporting aggregate materials.

• March 31, 2022 – The undertaking was registered.
• May 6, 2022 – Deadline for public comment.
• May 15, 2022 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• May 27, 2022 – The Minister’s decision is due (extension).
• June 10, 2022 -The Minister’s decision is due (extension).
• June 24, 2022 – The Minister’s decision is due (extension).
• July 8, 2022 – The Minister’s decision is due (extension).
• July 15, 2022 – The Minister’s decision is due (extension).
• July 14, 2022 – The Minister determined the project is released.
