Project Description:

The Proponent is proposing to decommission and remediate the former small arms rifle range site located off route 480 in Burgeo. Project activities include soil excavation and sediment dredging and disposal, on-site impacted surface water treatment, and removal of debris.

• December 21, 2023 – The undertaking was registered.
• January 26, 2024 – Deadline for public comments.
• February 4, 2024 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• February 16, 2024 – The Minister’s decision is due (extended).
• February 16, 2024 – The Minister determined that the Project is released.
