Project Description:

The Proponent is planning to construct and operate a microbrewery, taproom, four luxury cottages and event hosting space in Lumsden. The Project includes access to a nearby beach with firepits and cabanas available onsite. The brewery will consist of a turn-key style, electrically heated 4-vessel brewhouse system. A phased-in approach to development is proposed where the cottages will be available in phase one, followed by the events space, taproom and lastly the microbrewery.

• February 9, 2024 – The undertaking was registered.
• March 15, 2024 – Deadline for public comments.
• March 25, 2024 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• April 8, 2024 – The Minister’s decision is due (extended).
• April 22, 2024 – The Minister’s decision is due (extended).
• April 26, 2024 – The Minister’s decision is due (extended).
• April 26, 2024 – The Minister determined that the Project is released.
