Project Description:

The Proponent is proposing to develop approximately 23 hectares of land for agriculture use near New Harbour, Trinity Bay. The land would be used to produce hay, strawberry plants, fruit trees and root vegetables. Development would include removal of trees, stumps and rocks, levelling, and the addition of soil amendments.

• April 10, 2024 – The undertaking was registered.
• May 16, 2024 – Deadline for public comments.
• May 25, 2024 – The Minister’s decision is due.
