Laboratories for Water Quality Analysis

The list below shows a partial list of laboratories accredited by either Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation (CALA) or Standard Council of Canada (SCC) in the region that can carry out routine physical and chemical analysis on drinking water. Please contact the laboratory for the cost of analysis, proper sample bottles, sampling procedure, shipping instructions, etc.

Bacteriological water quality testing is conducted by the Provincial Public Health Laboratory for drinking water. Sample bottles can obtained from all Regional Service NL offices. Locations can be found at: https://www.gov.nl.ca/snl/department/contact/.

In the St. John’s Area samples must be submitted to:
