Project Description:
The proponent is proposing to construct a 120-metre rubble mound breakwater on the east side of the small craft harbour marina in the town of Petty Harbour-Maddox Cove. A 230-metre extension to the town’s effluent pipeline is also proposed, with the sewer outfall relocated to the seaward side of the proposed breakwater. Access to the site during construction would be from the southern shore of Petty Harbour.

- June 26, 2026 – Deadline for public comments.
- July 5, 2026 – The Minister’s decision is due.
