Project Description:
The proponent is proposing to construct a renewable energy project, known as Project Tuckamore, in the Corner Brook region of western Newfoundland. The project includes an approximately 155‑megawatt wind farm with up to 22 wind turbines and associated infrastructure, a transmission line connecting the wind farm to the existing substation in Massey Drive, upgrades to Deer Lake Power facilities, and forestry modernization activities. Construction activities would include road upgrades, site preparation, turbine installation, and electrical infrastructure construction.

- October 6, 2026 – Deadline for public comments.
- October 16, 2026 – The Minister’s decision is due.
