Project Description:
The proponent is proposing to develop and operate a five-hectare quarry near Thorburn Lake and approximately 4.5 km southwest of the Thorburn Lake access road. Work would include the construction of a 165‑metre access road, and operations would involve clearing, screening and stockpiling. There would be no blasting or on‑site fuel storage. The quarry would supply sand and gravel to support concrete production in Clarenville.
