Project Description:
The proponent has submitted a proposal to establish and operate an approximately 10 hectare quarry east of White Hills Pond, approximately three kilometres east of the Holyrood Thermal Generating Station on the Avalon Peninsula. The site will be accessed via an existing road. Gravel will be excavated and trucked to an off-site processing area currently being operated by the proponent. Construction will commence upon regulatory approval and will operate yearly from April to December.

- May 18, 2017 – Deadline for public comments.
- May 26, 2017 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
- July 26, 2017 – Amendment to Registration
- August 29, 2017 – Deadline for public comments.
- September 8, 2017 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
- June 15, 2018 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
- July 2, 2026 – The Water Resources Management Plan is accepted.
