Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to operate a 3.5-kilometer ATV trail for recreational purposes to access a network of trails and an existing Outfitting Lodge on Glover Island. Access to the lodge currently relies on float planes, which have become unreliable due to low water levels during dry fall periods.

• May 7, 2026 – The undertaking was registered.
• June 12, 2026 – Deadline for public comment.
• June 21, 2026 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• June 19, 2026 – The Minister determined that an Environmental Preview Report (EPR) is required.
• June 25, 2026 – The Minister appointed an Environmental Assessment Committee (EAC) for the Project.
• August 18, 2026 – The EPR Guidelines are due to be issued.
