Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to ford the Garnish River as a part of routine trail maintenance for the Garnish Point-Rosie Trail. Fording would occur during periods of low water levels, up to twice per season, to allow heavy equipment to access the trail for annual maintenance. While trail users currently access the trail via a downstream bridge suitable for ATV’s, the bridge cannot accommodate maintenance equipment.

• June 25, 2026 – The undertaking was registered.
• July 31, 2026 – Deadline for public comments.
• August 9, 2026 – The Minister’s decision is due.
