Project Description:
The proponent is proposing to expand the existing Greenspond quarry located approximately 2 kilometres west of Greenspond. The 11-hectare quarry extension will provide aggregate and armour stone materials to support provincial road construction, maintenance, shoreline protection, and other transportation infrastructure projects in the region.
- October 9, 2026 – The undertaking was registered.
- November 13, 2026 – Deadline for public comments.
- November 23, 2026 – The Minister’s decision is due.
