The Public Service Award of Excellence is the highest honour an employee can receive from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Open to all employees, this award highlights excellence and outstanding job performance at both individual and team levels. It celebrates the exceptional work, commitment and creativity of employees who are making a notable contribution to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Employees are asked to nominate any fellow employee or team demonstrating exceptional work performance. Recipients are selected for their overall achievements. These guidelines are intended to help focus your thinking when completing the nomination form.

When completing your nomination provide information that demonstrates excellence in the performance of tasks associated with the individual’s or team’s work or project. In addition, show how this work has had a positive impact upon either the work environment or the quality of service delivery to clients.
