Provides labour relations advice and guidance to government departments, agencies, boards and commissions in the interpretation of public sector collective agreements.
Negotiates public service collective agreements; including core government, agencies, boards and commissions.
Prepares and represents government’s position at rights and interest arbitrations.
Facilitates grievance resolutions through alternative dispute resolutions and settlements.
Reviews new positions for inclusion or exclusion in a bargaining unit; reviewing treasury board submissions with a labour relations perspective; formulating labour relations policy options.
