The Fisheries Branch of the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture is responsible for the licensing and regulation of all fish processing operations and fish buyers operating within the province, as well as, supporting the sustainability of the province’s fisheries, along with supporting the seafood industry in accessing global markets.
