Employment Planning

Staff can help you develop an employment plan to determine the supports you may be eligible to receive. These could include assistance with transportation, workplace safety clothing, or other items required to participate in a program to get you work-ready.

Staff are available to help you with job-search skills, resume writing, interview preparation, setting career goals and finding suitable programs, services and supports.

Preparing for an Interview

Employment Development Supports

Supports are available to help eligible individuals pursue career and employment goals. Employment Development Supports can assist with short-term training, pre-employment, or work supports.

Work-Related Supports for Persons with Disabilities

Provides adults with disabilities with supports (such as workplace accommodations, adaptations, assistive technology devices, and technical equipment) to a maximum of $5,000 to assist individuals with seeking, obtaining, or maintaining employment.

Community Partnership Program

Department staff work with community agencies to offer supports that help people prepare for, attain, and keep a job, and make the transition to a new job.

Service Agreements for Youth and Students Program

This program provides funding to non-profit youth-serving organizations to assist with the design and delivery of programs and services for youth and students related to furthering their education, employment, and career development. Services range from education support to employment initiatives.
