Thank you for your interest in the Community Enhancement Employment Program. Unfortunately, applications are now closed for 2026/2027, and all funding has been allocated. For sponsors that did receive funding, your projects must be completed by February 19, 2027.

The Community Enhancement Employment Program (CEEP) provides funding to eligible rural project sponsors, including:

• Municipalities

• Inuit Community Governments

• Local Service Districts

• Community and economic development organizations

• Other non-profit organizations

Projects must directly support tourism and economic development, community and municipal infrastructure, or community services and eligible individuals living in rural areas may work on a CEEP project for up to 490 hours, with hours adjusted as needed to meet current Employment Insurance (EI) eligibility requirements.
