The Municipal Support Division delivers departmental programs and services to local governments throughout the province. As the primary point of contact for cities, towns, local service districts, and the public, the division provides support and guidance on local governance, infrastructure, emergency response, and municipal operations, including:

• Providing municipal inspection services,
• Coordinating and monitoring capital works projects,
• Assessing infrastructure issues,
• Serving as the first point of contact for emergency measures to local governments within their regions, and
• Providing advice and guidance to cities, towns, and local service districts on legislative, policy, financial, and operational matters.
