The Department of Municipal Affairs and Environment is considering amending the Bay d’Espoir Protected Road Zoning Plan to rezone land located on a cottage access road on the west side of the Bay d’Espoir Highway (Route 360), approximately 5.5 kilometres north of the Route 364 intersection, at Hardy’s Cove, from “Rural Conservation” to “Cottage”. The purpose of this amendment is to accommodate the development of a cottage.
