Table Header Definitions
Licence Number
The Licence Number is the official number given to a person who is a well drilling licence holder under the Water Resources Act. No two persons may hold or state the same licence number. A well driller assistant does not have a licence number.
Affiliated Company
The Affiliated Company refers to the company that was stated as the well driller’s employer at the time of application. This does not mean that the well driller cannot conduct the business of well drilling under another company name.
Status
The status refers to the current status of well drilling licence. Labels in this column include:
Licence Holder – means that the well driller is currently licensed and in good standing*
Under Review – means that the Licence Holder is under review regarding the Status of his or her well drilling licence
Suspended – means the well drilling licence has been suspended under the Water Resources Act
Canceled – means that the well driller is no longer licensed to carry on the business or well drilling under the Water Resources Act.
*Good standing means a licence holder follows all the requirements of the Water Resources Act and has no unresolved complaints on record.
