St. John’s Weather

The weather in St. John’s can vary, not just from day-to-day, but also hour-to-hour.  The average July temperature is between 11 and 21 degrees Celsius and the city experiences frequent periods of wind and precipitation.

What to Wear Suggestions

Visitors should pack light clothing that can be layered including sweaters, light rain jackets (with hood) and windbreakers.   Footwear should be appropriate for any planned activities.

For the Pre-Conference Tour:  [Boat Tour:  Individuals taking this tour should expect cooler weather on the water.  We recommend light clothing that can be layered as well as a windproof jacket, secure footwear, and camera with a case or covering.  If it is your first time on the ocean then you may want to consider motion sickness medication (e.g. Gravol).]

The welcome reception, meetings and conference dinner will be business casual.
