- Special Patient Preparation
Patient should not be on aspirin, indomethacin, or anti-inflammatory medications, if possible, for at least 48 hours prior to collection of specimen
- Special Collection / Transport / Processing Requirements
Collect urine for 24 hours (no preservative). Refrigerate specimen during the 24-hour collection. Send specimen frozen in the plastic, 10- 20 mL urine tube. Collection volume and duration are required.
