The Provincial Laboratory Formulary (PLF) provides a listing of laboratory tests approved for use in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The PLF provides information on the utilization of laboratory testing and promotes best clinical practice guidelines within the province to ensure a standardized approach to utilization of laboratory medicine resources. Maintenance of the PLF occurs through the Provincial Laboratory Formulary Advisory Council (PLFAC).
