Filter Paper is taken at least after 24 hours of age. Must use Whatman # 903 Filter Paper soaked through with whole blood.

Based on specimen condition and stability, (e.g. samples considered unsuitable are blood not soaked through filter paper, filter paper destroyed or there is overlaying of blood).
