24 hour urine collection – 24 hour container should be acidified with 25 ml of 50 % Acetic Acid. Other acceptable 24 hour containers can be 6N HCL. Aliquot 2 samples with roughly 10- 15 ml in each and freeze asap. Ensure collection time and date are indicated to confirm 24 hour collection. Time frame of 22 – 26 hours is acceptable.
