Vehicle In-transit permits (single journey trip permits) may be issued when:
- A driver is required to travel to and from an inspection station for a scheduled appointment to obtain a vehicle inspection with the intent to facilitate the registration process.
- Any other reason as determined by the Registrar of Motor Vehicles.
Applications can be made by mail, fax or in person at any of the Motor Registration processing offices. Book an appointment to visit in person.
