The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador originally introduced the Hay Method in 1987. Since that time, it has been applied to eligible positions in core government departments and select agencies, boards and commissions. Appeals of management positions are conducted by the Management Classification Review Committee.
Upon Receipt of a decision, you may appeal within the time frame given in the notice. To request an appeal, complete the Management Classification Review Committee – Request for Appeal (57 KB) form. Send the completed form to classificationappeals@gov.nl.ca. We will contact you after receiving your request.
