Recruitment Services

Recruitment within the core public service is conducted in accordance with the Public Service Commission Act. The Public Service Commission establishes staffing policy, and the standards and methods by which candidates are assessed for employment.

The Strategic Staffing Division is responsible for the leadership and delivery of the full spectrum of recruitment services for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. This includes being responsive to requests for hire; candidate assessment, and job offer; marketing, promotion, and networking for talent acquisition, engagement and management; inclusive, equitable and accessible employment services; and continuous process improvement.
