Overview

The Information and Communication Standard Development Committee will support the Accessibility Standards Advisory Board in making recommendations to the Minister regarding standards to help remove and prevent barriers to accessing information and communication. This includes ensuring that information and communication products and services are accessible to people with disabilities. This may also include making a product, managing a process, delivering a service, or supplying materials. The goal is to enable all individuals to access, navigate, and use products and services with ease and effectiveness.

Eligibility

Interested candidates need experience in two or more of the following:

  • Business and industry sectors.
  • IT, Web Development, and/or Software.
  • Program management and policy development related to the design and delivery of programs and services in information and communication.
  • Accessibility and inclusion.
