Tendering and Contracts in the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is responsible for the procurement of construction and related services for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. This includes service contracts for buildings, such as janitorial, electrical, plumbing and snow-clearing as well as for roads, such as maintenance on the Trans Labrador Highway, airstrip maintenance and winter maintenance on local roads.

Please note that when a service contract is awarded, a renewal option may be included in the agreement. When contracts with a renewal option end, the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure may or may not choose to exercise the option to renew the service contract.
