The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador recognizes that social inclusion provides many benefits for health and well-being.

The Seniors’ Social Inclusion Initiative supports seniors organizations across Newfoundland and Labrador to organize and promote activities and programs that support social inclusion, healthy aging, mental wellness, and overall well-being.

Grants are available in the following amounts:

  • Up to $1,000 for unincorporated organizations
  • Up to $2,000 for incorporated organizations
  • Up to $3,000 for unincorporated or incorporated organizations for intergenerational activities

Eligible applicants must:

  • Reside in Newfoundland and Labrador and funding must be used for projects in Newfoundland and Labrador.
  • Be an organization (applications from individuals will not be considered).
  • Be in good standing with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador if they are incorporated.
