The Prevention and Early Intervention branch is focused on improving well-being and supporting individuals, families and community to realize their full potential. The branch administers and delivers the Income Support Program as well as other social supports and leads policy development related to income and social supports, poverty reduction, the community sector and prevention and early intervention to foster the best long term outcomes for the people of the province.
