Labrador Affairs

Through the Action Team, an Outreach Team was formed and is currently in place to provide supports to homeless, transiently homeless and vulnerable populations in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. The team works collaboratively and with municipal enforcement and RCMP on efforts to meet people where they are. Team members are led by the Salvation Army and include the Labrador Friendship Centre, Nunatsiavut Government, Innu Roundtable Secretariat, NunatuKavut Community Council, Labrador-Grenfell Health, Labrador Affairs Secretariat, NL Housing, Housing and Homeless Coalition, Mokami Status of Women Council, RCMP, and the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay. The Action Team looks forward to providing regular updates through the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay’s Facebook page and website, and the Labrador Affairs Secretariat’s webpage at https://www.gov.nl.ca/exec/las/overview/
