Government’s Commitment to IM as a Career
Information Management is an integral part of the Government’s ongoing commitment to the efficient, secure and accurate handling of essential records. As such, the OCIO is leading the way in assisting IM professionals, as well as those interested in an IM career, in making informed choices. The IM Technical Competency Framework, as well as the new Job Evaluation System are examples of initiatives that outline the roles and responsibilities of IM professionals, as well as the competencies required to prepare for the various IM-related opportunities.
