The Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism is a division of the Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development (JGRD), Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.

As the division supporting immigration and multiculturalism priorities in the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Office is mandated with:

• Administering the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program and the Atlantic Immigration Program;
• Building awareness of the benefits of immigration;
• Promoting Newfoundland and Labrador as a destination of choice to prospective immigrants;
• Promoting diversity and multiculturalism throughout the province; and,
• Supporting retention through enhanced settlement and integration services, including liaising with other divisions, departments, and external stakeholders on relevant matters.
