The Division plays a leading role in strengthening trust, accountability, and excellence in public procurement, including working with public bodies to ensure that procurement is carried out with fairness, transparency, and value for money.
As the provincial authority for procurement compliance, the division reviews and audits procurement practices to ensure they meet the highest standards and comply with the Public Procurement Act, Regulations, Policy, and other related legislation. These audits help public bodies continuously improve their processes and achieve better outcomes for the people they serve.
The Division also proactively leads special investigations and reviews on procurement‑related matters.
