Current Wind Conditions Message Board
There are currently two wind sign locations:
- Tourist Chalet Sign (Port aux Basques)
- Mollychignick Brook Sign (12.2 km east of Doyles intersection with TCH)
Wind Message Criteria
When wind gusts exceed 80 km/h, the message will read:
- HIGH WIND ADVISORY
WIND GUSTS EXCEEDING 80 KM/H
TRUCKS ADVISED TO PULL OVER
When wind gusts exceed 100 km/h, the message will read:
- HIGH WIND ADVISORY
WIND GUSTS EXCEEDING 100 KM/H
ALL TRAFFIC ADVISED TO PULL OVER
