Launch of Play and Learn Week and New Power of Play Campaign – November 3, 2014

The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, was joined by students, staff and parents today at Hazelwood Elementary for the announcement of Play and Learn Week. Play and Learn Week is celebrated from November 3-7 at primary schools throughout the province. Minister Sullivan also launched the new Power of Play campaign, “All of Your Tomorrow’s Begin with Today”, that highlight the importance of play and its positive effects on early childhood learning and development.
