System Performance

Performance Measurement Framework

Reporting on the performance of the K-12 education system in Newfoundland and Labrador

What is it?

The K-12 Performance Measurement Framework (PMF) is a consistent, systematic approach for collecting and analyzing data, and reporting on the performance of the system. It generates information to tell us whether or not we are delivering on outcomes, and this information helps to provide direction and identify priorities for decision-makers within all levels of the system. The Department of Education monitors indicator results at a provincial level, using the information to ask critical questions and guide future direction across six intended outcomes.
