Individual applications are required for building lightings and/or use of the courtesy pole. Please forward your application to Protocol@gov.nl.ca at least 6 weeks prior to your requested event. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.

Please note that approval to light the Confederation Building or avail of use of the courtesy pole does not constitute approval to hold a special event in the building. Requests to hold a special event in the East Block of the Confederation Building should be sent to:
