6.0 Refusal to Process Job Vacancy Assessment Application

The Department of Immigration, Population Growth & Skills (IPGS) cannot process Job Vacancy Assessment applications from employers who have been found to be non-compliant to federal immigration laws and regulations, and are on the Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada non-compliance list.  This list includes employers who:

  • have been found non-compliant as result of an employer compliance review;
  • have been banned from the Temporary International Worker Program because non-compliance was discovered during an inspection; and/or
  • are in default of payment of an administrative monetary penalty.
