In 1999, the first Newfoundland and Labrador Aquaculture Strategic Plan was developed through collaboration between government departments and industry. Since that time the strategic plan has been updated in 2002, 2005, and 2014 to reflect the direction and needs of the industry. The most recent version of the strategy can be found below.
