The proponent plans to construct and operate a wind farm near Argentia, on land owned by the Argentia Management Authority. The proposal is for 9 to 11 wind turbine generators (WTG) with a total capacity of approximately 27.0 megawatts (MW) of electricity. The proposed WTGs feature a conical tubular steel tower with a hub height of about 65 to 80 metres and a three-blade rotor with a diameter of up to 90 metres. The rated electrical power generation capacity from a single turbine will be up to 3.0 MW.
