is responsible for the implementation of the Accountability Framework, which applies to all departments, public bodies, and any other organization in receipt of public funds.
develops, implements, and enforces accountability requirements of the Framework.
provides leadership, support, and strategic advice to ensure departmental initiatives, including Treasury Board and Cabinet submissions, highlight considerations of key governance, accountability, evidence-informed decision-making, and evaluation principles.
supports / leads key government-wide, horizontal transformation initiatives with the goal to improve outcomes, ensure value-for-money for our programs and services, and to enhance oversight where needed.
