Fire and Emergency Services

As part of the Department of Municipal Affairs and Environment, the Fire, Emergency and Corporate Services Branch is tasked with the implementation of an emergency management strategy designed to develop and maintain a modern and robust emergency management system in the province, in collaboration with agency partners and stakeholders, in planning against, preparing for, responding to and recovering from emergencies, disasters and fires.

The branch works toward assisting citizens, communities, partners and governments in preparing to deal with, respond to and recover from fire, emergencies, and disasters to protect the province’s people, environment and property.
